At your 9-to-5, you have a job title…
It’s a label employers use for anyone in the position, not just you.
Your job description is WHAT you, or anyone with yo ur job title, do day-to-day.
When you go freelance, you’re selling to clients who buy SOLUTIONS to their PROBLEMS…
And a job title doesn’t say anything about the solutions you bring.
But you solved plenty of problems at your day job…
So look at:
What specific problems you solved
For what specific type of business
And with what specific result
Then fill in the blanks →
I solve [problem] for [who] to [result].
That's what a client will pay for.
Best,
Jamie
