the harsh truth about your "freelance business"

Most freelancers have been sold a BIG, JUICY lie…

They've been told that working from home and setting their own hours makes them business owners.

But here's what nobody wants to admit...

Simply having clients doesn't make you a business owner.

And I’ve personally talked to 1000s of freelancers,

from people dabbling in freelancing to people who have been in the game for 15, 20 years…

The MAJORITY of them, in nearly all cases, are calling it “freelancing” →

But what they’ve actually done is accidentally recreated employment (but worse).

Worse cuz you get NONE of the benefits –

NO predictable paychecks, no health insurance or PTO.

Even if you get fired from a corporate job, at least there’s unemployment checks and severance.

Instead you traded job security for job insecurity and are calling it freedom.

psst…some of the most skilled freelancers I know are trapped in this cycle!!

Meanwhile, freelancers with half their talent are building actual businesses that run without them.

The difference between the 2 isn't ability…

It's understanding what a business actually is.

You have to get intentional about building a freelancing business that has SYSTEMS for generating leads, productized services that scale, and margins that account for sub-contracting.

The shift isn't complicated, and yet most people won't make it.

Not because they can't.

Because they won't.

Most freelancers will keep believing the lie, hoping and wishing that someone else will solve this for them.

But hoping isn't a business strategy.

And wishing isn't a revenue model.

The freelancers who actually build businesses →

  • Take ownership (no more excuses and procrastination)

  • Make decisions (even when they’re unsure)

  • Hold themselves accountable

Most people reading this will do absolutely nothing with it.

They'll nod along, maybe save it for later, then go back to refreshing their email and hoping for the next project to drop in their lap.

But a few of you...

A few of you will read this and decide you're DONE believing the lie.

For those few of you who decide to be different

I invite you to hit reply with “DONE BELIEVING TFP” and you’ll get early access to the program that's helped over 1,000 freelancers make this exact transition.

But before you do, understand that no program can save you from yourself.

This only works if YOU decide to be different.

Will you?

Best,
Jamie
