This is the single most important line on the page, and most people waste it.
Don't be cute. Say exactly what you do and who you do it for.
"Brand strategist for direct-to-consumer startups" beats "creative problem-solver | dog dad | here to add value" every single time.
If a stranger can't tell what you'd be hired to do, the headline failed.
It's the biggest piece of real estate on your whole profile and almost everyone leaves the default blue.
That's a wasted billboard.
Use it to build trust at a glance with client logos, a clean line about the transformation you deliver, proof that you're the real thing.
3. Your featured section.
This is where you back up the claim.
Drop a short case study, a testimonial video, a three-slide breakdown of a result you got someone.
The headline makes the promise and the featured section is the receipts.
Don't make the lurker take your word for it, build trust by showing them.
Also, notice what's not on this list…
Posting every day, going viral, building a huge following.
